How it all started...February 8, 2021 · Cleya Beauty

Hey guys, Claudia here. Today, I am beyond excited to finally share Cleya Beauty with the world, a beauty company that believes beauty starts the moment one decides to be kind; to yourself, to others, and to the planet. 

Many people would refer to owning their own brand as pursuing their passion, dream or financial goal. But for me, creating Cleya Beauty was a decision that was made based on my purpose.

Talking about purpose, I do believe that as long as our heart is still beating, we have a purpose in this world. It is to live a life that shines light, so that others can see their way out of the dark. We – you and I – must take that light and love and show it to the world. That’s our purpose. Every day in every way.

Growing up, I’d be lying if I said that I’ve never wanted to fit inside of society’s beauty standards. It wasn’t easy to not compare myself to a stranger on Instagram. And sometimes, wanting to be beautiful takes over the feeling of wanting to be happy. Realizing that my self worth is not tied to the number of followers I have or likes or comments I get is hard. But, once I realized that the beauty I have been searching on, is already within myself, I felt free. 

Our world creates an unrealistic image and expectation of what being beautiful looks like and what is required to be beautiful. When the truth is, being beautiful is not just about the way you look physically. It doesn’t matter if you wear designer clothes, or the most expensive jewelry.. At the end of the day, it is truly your heart and inner beauty that shines through.

That's what motivated me to start a brand. A beauty company that goes beyond just a beauty company.. A beauty company that is fuelled by kindness. We believe in small gestures, big impact.. Because the smallest act of kindness is sometimes worth more than the grandest intention.

 

Whether it’s...

• Giving someone an unexpected compliment.
• Telling someone that they’re significant & important.
• Bringing your own water bottle to help cut down plastic waste.
• Taking time to engage in self-care.
• Or as simple as avoiding products that contain harmful ingredients for your skin.

And that's why with Cleya Beauty, we only bring you clean beauty essentials that work with your skin, not against it. If anyone comes across our brand in the future, learned our message, and applied that into real life, I consider that my purpose is served whether she/he got our products or not.
